Dropbox Badge Immovable on Multi-Screen Mac

I'm running the latest Dropbox, Office 365 and macOS software on a MacBook running its own Retina display and an external monitor.   The Dropbox Badge only shows itself on files stored in Dropbox...

Is the Badge movable when there's only one monitor connected?

 

Is the Excel window maximized to fullscreen?

No: the windows are sized to fit the screen but not maximised if that makes sense?

    Could you try resizing the window, temporarily, so that it's not touching the edge of the screen, and try moving the Badge? 

     

    Is there a difference if there's only one monitor connected?
