DROP BOX ICON DISAPPEARED

Hi Guys...

Im running a MAC book on Ventura 13.2.1 since the update the Drop box icon has vanished from my laptop utilities window so saving any

docs or excel sheets is a nightmare now.

Can anyone help with advice how to get it back please ?? Thanks a lot

  • Hi Sammy685, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you referring to the icon in the menu bar at the top near the clock, or when viewing in Finder?

Have you tried reinstalling the app using this link?

This will help me to assist further!

I had the same problem. The Dropbox Icon disappearing from the Menu Bar, then reappearing, disappearing again, ...
I finally found out what was the issu. It is very simple, but still annoying if you don't know it:

I am also using a Macbook, OS Ventura.
In the upper right side of the screen there is the Finder Menu bar.
This menu bar contains the active App modules, like battery, WiFi, Bluetooth, VPN, Antivirus, Dropbox, etc.
The Dropbox App is always on the extreme left end of this Menu bar.
Apparently this Menu bar can only show a limited number of modules, due to limited screen space.
When the number of active modules is higher, the modules on the left side become invisible, though they are still active.
Unfortunately, the invisible Apps cannot be used, since you cannot click them.
So in order the see and use the Dropbox App, I had to disable some other Apps from the Menu Bar.
So it is more a Macbook issue than a Dropbox issue.
