Cannot start Dropbox app on Macbook
Hi,
I installed Dropbox app on Macbook Pro, system Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68), but it cannot start. I have already tried to reinstall it, but still did not work.
And the error file:
bn.BUILD...
- 2 years agoIt mysteriously solved. When I restarted my mac after an update and gave it another try, it suddenly popped out log-in issues which showed that dropbox identified my mac as a new device each time I tried to log in, so I cannot log in due to exceeding the maximum number of devices I was allowed. After I removed my login devices, it finally start.

Hi adrian b.16, I hope you're doing well!
Did you try quitting the app and relaunching it at all? Could you check if this persists after rebooting your computer?
In any case, please keep me posted!
- adrian b.162 years agoHelpful | Level 5I read relevant posts here about missing icons from the Dropbox folder. I tried every "solution" as apparently Dropbox is not able to issue a fix. I ended up trying a full uninstall and then a clean install. Every time I start the installed app I get the error message and the attached text file ...have you read the text file and is anyone there competent enough to tell me what's wrong please ? Thank you.
