How can I add on some quota for a Dropbox Plus plan?
I currently have the 2TB plus account. Can I add another 1TB without the upgrade to professional account? If so, where would I accomplish the task

You should be able to. If the option is available to you, it can be found on your Subscriptions page.

That's correct, this option would only be available if you upgraded via the Dropbox site directly.
