Thank you for the quick response! I apologize that I haven't been as speedy in mine.
On further investigation, it appears to only be an issue when using the cellular network (which, unfortunately, is where I tend to be when needing to upload pictures); when on WiFi the uploads do not hesitate and go through as expected.

If you're using camera uploads to do this automatically, have you made sure to have your cellular data usage enabled?
If you're not using camera uploads or you've checked it already, have you contacted your service provider by any chance?- I have been manually uploading the photos through the Dropbox app itself, not using the automatic feature with the camera. Something interesting to note: I switched the view from "list" to "grid" and have not had the problem again.
