Upload non-pictures with Android app
When I tap the UPLOAD button on my DropBox app on Samsung Galaxy phone I get SELECT PICTURES TO UPLOAD.
I don't want to upload pictures. I need to upload documents (.txt, .pdf, etc.)
(I can't believe nobody at Dropbox has thought of this! I mean, really?!)
- Hello!
I had reinstalled the app already (though I’m not sure I did a full uninstall first) but in the end I had some spare time and so I transferred the files from one external drive to another then reformatted the drive so it would trigger a new request to backup. This worked. As a suggestion, it seems like there should be some manual way to tell Dropbox to backup a drive after originally indicating not to and not to ask again.
Thanks!

Dear Walter,
Thank you, though for the convenience of subscribers finding the same problem, I would modify your advice as follows:
Do not tap the UPLOAD button. It only uploads photos. Tap the floating plus and then tap CREATE OR UPLOAD FILES.
