sync not working

I routinely have problems when I upload a work or powerpoint file on my home computer (Mac) at night, say 8 PM, and then when I come to my office the next day at say 8 AM, the file is not in dropbox ...

    Hey Frustrated2023, thanks for joining us on the Dropbox Community.

     

    If the files you add to your home computer, sync with your account online, the syncing issue should lie with your Surface computer.

     

    Which Dropbox version do you have installed on that computer?

     

    You can hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray, to see this info.

     

    And also, is it possible that the files created in your Mac, include any of these incompatible characters in their names?
