Hi there razorflash, sorry to hear about your syncing issues.
Could you clarify if the desktop app is stuck at the same file or if it's syncing or giving you different errors in your menu bar? Also, what is the app's version?
As for the new desktop app for MacOs on File Provider, you can have a look here.

it's really bad - it keeps syncing and saying up to date
then syncing again
then maybe at random it started reindexing all 200 000 files
