Hi tim2111, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Just to confirm, is the folder visible and added to your account on the Dropbox site, but not on your Windows computer?
Does the folder name contain any incompatible characters for Windows, such as a | or : symbol?
This will help me to assist further!

Yes Jay - Thanks for the response - Yes, the indeed has an '|'.
If this is removed from the folder name, will it sync ok?
I'll get my client to edit now.

That's correct, although, the client doesn't have to edit it, only you do, and it'll sync fine. Changing it to a - would work.
Bear in mind that even if they change it, it wont change on your end. For you to see the change, they need to fully unshare the folder, and then reshare it to you.

Thanks Jay - she changed the name, but it still take me to the same folder with the old name.
I've asked to: 1, unshare, 2, rename and then 3, reshare!
Thanks again

Glad to hear that it's working now! This is a restriction based on Windows itself, since it can't handle certain characters that Mac OS devices allow normally on their end.
If you need any further assistance in the future, please let me know. Enjoy your week!
