Resolution of mov and mp4 files is off

Using Apple Keynote, I have created a rather large mov presentation that includes voice audio.  There are a couple of png graphs imported to a couple of slides of the presentation.  The main text on the slides is very clear.  Even a couple of gif files on some slides are clear; however, neither of the two png imported graphs are clear.  I cannot easily read the axes values, labels, or the graphs' titles.  This is true if I view the mov files via my iPads or my Windows 10 PC.

Is this a common problem with mov and mp4 files uploaded to cloud services like DropBox?

If it would be helpful, I can include a link to the mov file.

Thanks for any help.

  • Hi :)
Are you using the website to run the Presentation as a preview? If so it does lower the quality of the files (and this depends upon which plan you are on). However, if you download it and play it then it should run perfectly fine and back to original resolutions.

Thanks Mark.  That is indeed the case.  I was concerned that people to whom I sent a link would not have good resolution.

Interestingly, if I view on my iPads, it’s much better, even on the website.
