Hi oilerblue, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Is the Dropbox desktop application currently running and visible in the menu bar?
Do the files and folders in the Dropbox folder have any sync icons on them?

Thanks, Jay, for responding. The dropbox app is open and the icon is at the top right of the chrome menu bar on my Mac. No sync icons. Can I attach a screenshot to this chat?

Yes, please attach a screenshot showing the Dropbox folder in Finder, while hiding the file names, all we need to see are where the sync icons should appear.
Likewise, what is the sync status in the Dropbox desktop application when you click the app icon in the menu bar?
