Do shared folders take up space on all members?

I need to know that if I've shared an folder upload link with any person whom I need to get the files uploaded in the folder, when he/she will upload the files, will the storage be filled in their dr...

Shared folders take up space on all members of the share, unless you're both part of the same Dropbox team account.
