I'm sharing a file via link, but it forces users to install the Dropbox app.

Been using DropBox for a few years without issue. Now when I share a link … users complain that they can’t access the file and instead get page to download DropBox. For one off file sharing I...

To explain a bit more .... previously when I shared a DropBox link it would appear in a FB group as an icon.

Now though it just appears as a link ..... and when they click on it tey get page to download DropBox .. and many quit at that point.

Here is an example.

How can I get back to it showing as an icon ?

\n For one off file sharing I would not 3d left to be forcing them to install app.

To explain a bit more .... previously when I shared a DropBox link it would appear in a FB group as an icon.

Now though it just appears as a link ..... and when they click on it tey get page to download DropBox .. and many quit at that point.
