I tried to upload a folder via file request, but nothing happened. Has it been uploaded?

I have received a file request from another user, to upload a folder into his storage "area". I got the email, clicked the link, and got a window with a file submission area. I pressed the upload but...

Thanks for letting us know about this here, deditonmulodden.

To my understanding, you also inserted your name and email address, but when hitting the “Upload” button, nothing happened, correct? 

In general, you should be seeing the progress of your files being uploaded indeed and when the upload is complete, there should also be a confirmation window saying “Finished uploading”.

Have you tested this via a different browser/incognito window? Does the same thing happen there?
