I can't find the app's Sync tab, "make online-only" option, or the "Manage hard drive space" tool.
Hello,
For the first time, I am trying to free up hard disk space on my laptop by making some of my files/folders in Dropbox available online only. I've been reading the literature online. I have the dropbox desktop app, version 205.4.5765. I have windows 10.
When I go to my account, under Preferences, there is no sync tab appearing. When I click on the folders, there is no "Make online only" option available. Also, there is mention in the literature of a Manage hard disc space tool, but I cannot find it anywhere.
I am on the free basic plan, it tells me I am using 3.58 G of the 14.75 available to me ( acquired a long time ago through getting other people to download dropbox).
Any help appreciated

Hey mnc1, thanks for posting on our forum today.
Please keep in mind that the online-only option is currently available to paid users (and to users using Dropbox for macOS on File Provider).
However, you should be able to use our selective sync feature instead and remove entire folders from your desktop app to save up space (you can still access them on the Dropbox website normally).
Can you send me a screenshot of what you see when trying to locate your desktop app’s Sync tab (please make sure you’re not checking www.dropbox.com, but the Dropbox app’s preferences)? Here’s how you can attach it here:
Let me know when you’re ready.
