How to shortcut a dropbox FILE on android phone
I was trying to find a way to create a shortcut icon on my androidphone when suddenly dropbox (or Word) asked spontanously that would you like to create a shortcut to this file??? but the question hasn't appeared again and I haven't found a way to do it to other files.
Please help me out, it would be so handy to have instant access to a specific file.

Hi Soundofwaves; welcome to our Community!
I'm not sure if this came from Word directly or maybe you're referring to creating a Dropbox folder shortcut on your Andoird device?
Could you take a look and let me know if this helps?
Thanks!

That was for the folder. What about for a FILE?

Hi AlBara; thanks for joining our discussion here and happy Friday!
I'm afraid I'm not aware of a way to create a shortcut to a file from your account on a mobile device.
You can suggest this in the relevant section of our Community so other users can upvote it to show their interest as well:

In the meantime, you can star it or offline it for easier access through our mobile app.
I hope this helps to some extent and please let me know if you have any other questions.
