How can I copy all the files I've currently saved on Dropbox to a new account?

Hello

We've been using Dropbox as a family since 2004, so twenty years.  We've both had full access but it is in my husband's name.

He has decided to end our marriage, so I would need to ensure that I can retain access to all of our photos.

I guess that means I need to create my own account?

If I do this, how do I duplicate the entire contents of our current account?

Thanks in advance

    Hi LoonyLuna

    Sorry to hear that 😞

Yes you'll need a new account, possibly upgraded to get enough quota? Then share a folder between the two to get the files and make sure you take them out of the share by copy/paste OR unshare after you have them.

If you move out of the share then you'd delete for him, and if you dont take them out if he decides (accidentally? intentionally?) to delete them or remove access you could loose them.
