Hello Dropbox Support, My name is Eldad from Eldad Photographers. I urgently request temporary access to a closed Dropbox Team account (eldadoffice Dropbox), registered under [removed]. Due to a major price change we canceled our plan. Exactly during that time, a war broke out in Israel, our work stopped completely, and I volunteered to help with search and rescue operations. In the chaos, important client materials remained online. These files are now urgently needed for legal and professional obligations. My current contact email is [removed]. Please help us recover access temporarily, even for an additional payment if needed. Thank you very much, Eldad Eldad Photographers [personal information removed per the Community's Guidelines]9Views0likes1CommentAlmost impossible to login due to "games" captcha
Hi everyone! I have a problem I hope you can help me resolve. I use my Dropbox free acount to move files from my phone to the office computer. They are personal things, so I can't install the app or login out of a private browser session. I have two-factors autentication active. Dropbox makes me lose a lot of time in stupid games before login to prove I'm human. I'm not talking about reCAPTCHA here, but real games where you move people to the right chair and other crap like that. How can I avoid this? It's ridicolous, if I wanted to play I will have open an account to a game site, not to personal cloudspace.403Views3likes30CommentsAccount linked to college email which was later deactivated after graduation.
I would like to access an old college Dropbox account that contains a lot of important projects. I know the email and password associated but cannot get past the two-factor authentication. It submits a code to the email that is deactivated - that I have no access to anymore. This is dumb. Dropbox should by default negate two-factor for college email accounts after an extended period of time. The email address does not exist anymore! How do I solve this?I have no access to my email address and the password isn't working. How can I access my paid plan?
I have a dropbox plus account that is connected to an old email address to which I have no access any more. Since my password does not seem to work, I cannot reset it in the usual manner. Any ideas on what to do?Solved92Views0likes5CommentsOur syncing has stopped, since our admin has left and we can't access our accounts to pay.
Our group administrator has left and we cannot even access our bill. We cannot move forward without changing our group administrator but there is no way to contact DROPBOX. Our credit card number changed and the bill was not paid and nothing is syncing. All information is sent to ex adm email in google with two part auth. which goes to her private cell phone. How can we reclaim this account when there is no way for anyone else to contact Dropbox directly.13Views0likes1CommentI'd like a feature that allows me to secure a folder of files with a password for extra protection.
It would be a great idea to implement an extra layer of protection to be able to hide certain files or be able to lock them with a set password within the app since I experience multiple users on multiple machines of mine being able to access most of the files. Therefor I would really benefit from a folder I can lock with my personal password and therefor hide sensitive information or files that should not be accessed by other users but me. I would suggest calling it something like Vault or Hidden Files. This could also be done via integration through the apps, let people decide if they want to install the vault feature or not.78Views2likes7CommentsI got an unknown error when I tried logging in to my mobile.
Hello, I am using dropbox regularly on my PC, I log in to dropbox in with my personal email address and it works flawlessly. I just installed dropbox app on my android smartphone and when I try to sign in using the same email address working for the PC I receive an error message like "Unknown error. Contact assistance". I must say that the internal google account of the android device uses (for accessing google) a different email address that I set up years ago but, when signing in to dropbox, I always select the "by email" option and not the "by google" one. If I sign in on android by using the "google" email address, it works but -obviously- I do not find any file or folder in the dropbox which appears to be empty. How can I try to solve this issue ? Any ideas ? Thank you so much for your help...11Views0likes1CommentLogin not possible due to captcha problem
Starting yesterday evening Dropbox wants me to solve 10 (!) captchas where I have to sit people in certain rows in a room. First of all: Who had this horrible idea? Can you make it even more complicated to access my data? Second: Even when I solve the captchas the login won't work with Firefox. It did work with Edge - And no - this cannot be a permanent solution. Please fix this problem or I will have to move to a different platform. I have a dropbox plus account that is connected to an old email address to which I can no longer access. I have the password, but after I log in I am asked for the 6 digit code sent to the e-mail address that I cannot access. The 8 digit codes I received when I signed up do not work. The help pages are useless in resolving this problem. Any ideas on what to do?23Views0likes1Comment
