HELP! External HD constantly ejecting during upload

I am new to Dropbox and I am so frustrated. I have a 18T External drive with 8T of footage that I am trying to upload and during the upload process my external drive stops syncing and gives the warning message about disk disconnected. I will send over some good karma to those who can help. 🙂

    This could potentially be related to the 8TB of content that you have saved in the external drive. 

     

    But before we look into this, would you mind sending over a screenshot of the error message you get on your end, when the external hard drive is disconnected? 

     

    Also, what is your OS and desktop app version?
