If you're using the Dropbox client on your computer and the file was placed in the local Dropbox folder, then it will resume the file automatically if the transfer is interrupted.
If it appears to be stuck, hover your mouse cursor over the Dropbox icon in the system tray (Windows) or menu bar (Mac) and see what Dropbox reports for its status. You might also want to read the following help article.

Did your file ever finish uploading?...I am having the same issue "1 hour left" and the status bar is stuck in one spot.It has been over 12 hours. ...otherwise says it is still uploading. Extremely frustrated by this as I purchased a larger plan, etc. so I could uploard a larger file.

Hey Rich, what icon? WHERE? I see no description above of an icon. What are you seeing? Also, you seem to be answering a question that was not asked.
- Jane7 years agoDropbox StaffI’m assuming that you’d like to resume a large file upload, since that’s the article’s title, am I right? For starters, you may keep in mind that you can resume syncing if you had previously paused through the desktop app following the steps outlined here.Alternatively, to rephrase Rich’s post above, should you experience a connectivity issue- syncing should resume once your device is back online & you can have a look at your system tray (bottom-right on a pc) or menu bar (top-right on a Mac) to check back on the syncing progress.
Let me know what you see there & what device you’re using & we’ll take it from there. Thanks for posting us on our Community & I'll be awaiting your next update, so as to work on a fix together!
