It sounds like the issue may be related to how the link was formatted when you pasted it into the response. The "invalid tag" error often occurs when the platform you're using interprets part of the URL as HTML code, or if certain characters in the URL or reply are incorrectly handled. Here are some steps to try and resolve the issue:
- Check the Dropbox Link Format: Make sure the Dropbox link you're using is in the correct format. If it's a shared link, ensure it’s properly copied, starting with https://www.dropbox.com/....
- Use Plain Text: Instead of pasting the link directly into the response, try pasting it as plain text (you can remove any hyperlink formatting). You can do this by pressing Ctrl+Shift+V (on Windows) or Command+Shift+V (on macOS) to paste it as plain text.
- Escape Special Characters: If the Dropbox link contains special characters, such as &, ?, or #, these may need to be encoded or handled differently depending on the platform you're using.
- HTML Tag Issue: The error you’re seeing suggests there might be an issue with how the system is interpreting HTML tags. If you're working in a platform that allows HTML or Markdown, ensure you're not accidentally using any unsupported tags, or check for any extraneous <a> tags in the text.
- Try a Different Platform: If you continue to face issues, you might want to try pasting the link in a different text editor or platform to see if the issue persists.
If none of these work, you might need to check the help section or support of the platform you're using, as it could be something specific to their formatting rules.
