The shared photos I received have a low quality on Dropbox.
Why are the photos that I am sent by others loading to my account with such poor quality? The images say "very compressed" if you look at the details of the photos.

Dropbox doesn't modify the original files. If you're viewing them through the Dropbox website then you're looking at a preview of the original, which may be optimized for display, but the original file will be untouched if you download it to your computer.
