Problem searching for files in dropbox iOS ipad
Since the last update of the app, searching for files (by name) never shows any result.
Dropbox-app version 224.5 (27 feb 2021) on iPad with latest iOS (14.4).
In previous versions it worked fine...

Tried again today and guess what: it works again. On iPad and iPhone.🤔

Did you ever get a resolution on this issue? I sent a message to the Dropbox support team, received one reply message, offering all the usual troubleshooting suggestions. I tried all the suggestions, am still having the problem, but the support team member disappeared on me, too! I pay too much for this app to not work!

Sorry to hear that amyonline15, it just resolved itself after few days, they tried to help but I had a suspicion it was a general problem at their end (they won’t admit it obviously!). It’s not re-occurred thankfully! Good luck!!!…
- amyonline153 years agoHelpful | Level 5Yes. I just saw it. But I don’t think he’s understanding my issue. He says that I have to have Dropbox Professional to search for files. I’m really hoping this isn’t true, as I’ve used this plan for YEARS now. I’m literally typing in the NAME of a file or folder, that is CLEARLY there, and it’s not being found.

I managed to locate it on our system, and it seems that Anton has taken over.
Were you able to see the agent's reply on your end, and follow the steps?

However, I did them again, and replied to him with a screencast to show him that the search still doesn’t work. I’m really hoping someone can resolve this for me soon.
