How can I view files by date on the website?
On Dropbox.com, in a browser, how do I view files by date or by date modified?
- 7 years agoMake sure you are viewing the web page in 'List' mode and then click on the 'Modified' word (second column, after name) and choose which ordering you'd like.

Nope, that doesnt show dates. It still looks like this to me:
Yes it's in "List" mode. Yes it is technically now in "Ascending order by Modified". Great. But where the heck are the DATES? I still have to click into these folders to see the DATES that the files were last updated, and if those files happen to be in another subfolder, that folder gets dropped to the bottom of the list under all of the single files, even if that subfolder was updated more recently than the other files. So again. How do I display the DATES LAST MODIFIED for folders, not just an unhelpful re-ordering by last modified that still makes me go into each individual folder to see the dates? Seems like no one on the internet can answer this question, but here's hoping.

Thank you! It didn't occur to me that the column headings are dropdown menus (duh).

I had not realised that the colums were drop downs so I managed to change 'Modified date' to Size.
However, I can't seem to change it back. The 'Modified date' is in black but it does not seem to update. Does not work on either column
Ideally I would like to see name, file size ,extenstion and date mdoified i.e. 4 columns
Grateful for your help
