Live Simultaneous Editing in Dropbox Business
We use Dropbox Business on the desktop app through File Explorer for all of our project files. We are trying to find a way to simultaneously live edit documents in Microsoft Excel, Word, and others without creating conflicting copies. Is there a way to do this with Dropbox?

Using the Office apps on your computer; no. You need to open the files from the Dropbox website and use the online versions of the Office applications. If you're on a Business account, you'll also need an Enterprise Microsoft account that has a license for editing in Office Online.
