Seriously???? What a complete joke. I now have to selectively download three gig of files selectively. Stupid, stupid, stupid limitation.

Thanks for the help.
To anyone from dropbox reading this, the impossibility to download large files, plus the lack of ANY explanation on the web page when this happens is UNACCEPTABLE.

And why won't it give a message to the effect that I can't download it instead of having to go this forum and find the answer. If a download limit is in effect that why won't it tell me when I try to download?

I found also some way for bigger files: I make directory in dropbox "download" and activate sync for this folder. Then I copy files which I want to download into "synced download" directory and after some times they are on my computer in folder Drobox / Download. After use I delete directory with files. It is also usable if you have versioning of files (copy file, put in later version and sync with comp).
All services (servers backup, sync comp. to dropbox etc ) are with no limitation to dropbox and browzer download system is limited (restoring of big backups are mostly broken back to the server, too). Seems policy is to grab much as goes and put to dropbox (to higher bills) and limit download lines. But it seems they cant limit their own sync system to customer because then service fail (you get files from friend and have to sync with your account).
Do anyone know better service as dropobox where bigger downloads works? For personal files is dropobox fine, but I would migrate backups to other, more "downloads trustable" service... thanks
George
