Apple Photos has caused Dropbox mobile camera uploads to upload duplicate images
for years I've been using Dropbox's "camera uploads" feature to upload my iPhone's photos. I also have a separate location on dropbox with a TON of photos from other cameras/sources in a random folder called "photos". recently I thought I would be make my "photos" folder sync local to my Mac, use Apple Photos to to catalog all of it. unfortunately, this causes dropbox to see ALL the photos, to then populate my iPhone and upload them all back into "camera uploads" -- now I have tens of thousands of duplicates, and every time dropbox launches it continuously uploads a ton of duplicate pictures.
Feature Request: ExFAT Compatibility when using external drives
I (as well as many others I'm sure) use Dropbox to sync with offsite professionals while needing to use multiple workstations. Rather than keeping local copies on each of these computers (as they aren't private workstations and often are cleared), I keep my Dropbox on an External drive. I've now been presented with a need to utilize this system over multiple OS, and have just found out that Dropbox cannot be linked to an ExFAT external drive. The 4GB file limit has been removed with FAT32, and many professionals have to utilize multiple OS environments to do their job. This is a problem with a solution that's far overdue. Please let me continue to use Dropbox to connect with other professionals regardless of the OS I am working on in that moment.
I can't sign in due to a security code being sent to an email I can't access
Dropbox on my PC and iPhone used to be perfectly synced. When I added or edited content on either, it would show up on the other usually within minutes. I recently got a new PC and when the installers set it up my DB worked great on my new PC. Except that I soon discovered that it was no longer synced to my phone. So I deleted my iPhone DB and tried to just sign in again on my phone in hopes that would solve the problem. Little did I realize that to sign in you requires username (e mail address), password and then DB sends a six digit security code to your e mail address (the one you used to sign in). The problem is that e mail address no longer exists, and I can't recreate it so I can't retrive the security code they send me to sign in. So now I've lost all my DB content on my phone and can't figure out how to re open that account on my iphone so that all of my PC DB files will sync to it. HELP! Thanks Mac
I'm now unable to save edited videos?
Suddenly I'm not able to save edited videos anymore? I can do all the edits /trim, cut, rotate, etc) but when I want to save a New Copy nothing happens and I have to abort with "changes not saved"!? Everything worked well until last week when this suddenly occured?? I work on a standard lap top with windows 11 installed, no changes were made the last week from my part.
Mac Finder extension incompatible with Google Drive Finder helper Finder extension
I have the same issue that many other people have reported. On my MacBook Pro running MacOS 14.1.2, I have both Dropbox v189.4..8395 Personal Plus (I have never had a beta version) and Google Drive File Stream v85.0.26.0. My Dropbox sync/cloud icons are missing from my Dropbox folder. If I uncheckthe Google Drive Finder helper's Finder extension, then the Dropbox sync icons immediately re-appear. However, this reduces the functionality of my Google Drive installation. I need *both* of these cloud sync systems to work. links from illustrator to online files
Hi, Since a more recent update of the operating system of apple, when we open an illustrator file, online links have to be searched manually, put offline, and connected again one by one. Before, this all happened automatically, where the illustrator file recognized all online links, and opened with all links correctly connected. What happened? is there something I'm not seeing in my presets or something? Now it's hell to be honest. Thanks for helping.Non-stop syncing

La synchronisation n'avance pas du tout et mes documents/modifications ne sont pas visibles des autres utilisateurs du compte depuis tout ce temps. J'ajoute que j'ai du stockage libre sur mon ordinateur et que ma connexion internet est fluide (j'ai essayé sur plusieurs réseaux). Comment puis-je débloquer ça et arriver à bout de la synchronisation ? Merci.
