macOS: Sonoma 14.6.1 Dropbox desktop App, auto update is on, currently v209.4.3661 Dropbox Advanced - 310TB Speed Test: 110Mbps Download/24Mbps Upload Been using dropbox for 10+ years with no problems. Last two weeks upload speed has become painfully slow on my desktop. Download speed is fine. I have read through a few threads and tried the following. - Custom Bandwidth Settings is disabled - Custom Proxy settings is disabled - Removed NordVPN What else do you suggest? Hi, when I use Joplin and try to synchronise with Dropbox, its is giving me an error. could not authorise application: request to api.dropboxapi.com/oauth2/token failed, reason: Please try again In Joplin, i have selected Dropbox and and it provided me the link for authentication. I have multiple Dropbox accounts for several different clients, and as such, I must use the Dropbox website for uploading and downloading files I share for one of my clients. When I want to add my files to a Dropbox folder via the website, I always get a pop-up box with a confirmation that my upload has completed. This pop-up box is very annoying. It takes up a lot of space in the lower left corner of my screen, and the only way to get rid of it is to close it by clicking the "X." I upload files all day long and this confirmation pops up every single time. This requires a lot of extra clicking so that I can uncover and see pertinent information on my screen. for "Email to Dropbox" feature i rather have random numbers for email address (like UUID number, "591b6596-1632-434b-9dea-fb85db01ceab") or option to create you own email address (UniqueName@addtodropbox.com or username@addtodropbox.com) (no special characters, like !@#$%^&*, this could cause problems with email apps/tools) this is much safer and easier to use .. thank you André13Views0likes1Comment"798 files unable to sync" error on the Dropbox desktop app
My DB has been syncing for weeks and alternatively tells me it can't sink files (300, 600, whatever). It says to check sync issues but there is no information if I click on that and I have no idea where to find the files that are "stuck".
