Dropbox Plus

I have recently had a couple of Emails from Dropbox telling me that the free trial of Dropbox Analytics was about to end and the last one to say that it had ended. I wasn’t even aware that I was on a free trial for this product. It also states that I cannot now add new files to my Dropbox although I can access existing files. I pay annually for Dropbox Plus so why are Dropbox saying that I now can’t add new files?40Views0likes1CommentMicrosoft Teams integration loses login connection every other day
The new Microsoft Teams integration is great; we can now open shared links directly on the Desktop via the native app, which is a great time saver. Only bug for the integration is that users have to login to Dropbox via Teams every other day. It loses the login authorization and the 'open file in app' function is then not available anymore. Users need to login everyday in to Dropbox via Teams to make it work again.43Views0likes2CommentsI have a Dropbox Plus, but no option to enable Dropbox AI.
Hello. As the headline states, I am a plus customer and would like to activate the possibility to add ai support for third party apps. This, so I can sort all my photos. The language is set to English (US) and I've signed up for beta updates since a long time ago. When in settings, the toggle is still glowing with its abscense though? My goal is to apply some sort of program which helps me sort my thousands and thousands of pictures. This by automated facial recognition. All help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!43Views0likes1CommentFolder Activity sidebar will not open when using Firefox.
When I click on the gear icon to click on Folder Activity for a folder, the right-side sidebar will not slide open. All the other links in the dropdown menu from the gear icon seem to work, but not Folder Activity. Currently using Dropbox on my Firefox web browser (Mac).69Views0likes10CommentsUnable to delete a folder I own. "You don’t have permission to delete files in this folder".
Hi! I'm having difficulty deleting a folder I own. I keep getting an error message "You don’t have permission to delete files in this folder". There are no files in the folder and I have triple checked that I am the owner of the folder. I have also unshared it with any other members.83Views0likes19CommentsI can't edit my original text in PDF files, even though I'm on the Plus plan.
I finally bit the bullet to upgrade to the Plus Plan primarily for pdf editing capability. When I tried my first pdf edit, I as so disappointed to find that this plan does not allow for editing of original text! As I read the Features web page regarding pdf editing, I saw "With Dropbox plans, you can make in-line text edits that automatically match the original document's font family, size, and styling" and thought that a paid Plus plan would do the trick. Is there any intention to enhance the Plus Plan pdf editing capabilities? Not sure if I need this plan with current limitations.22Views0likes1CommentUpdate billing info - Forcing me to upgrade plan..
I have tried to update my billing info, which appears to save, however it then directs me to the plan configuration page and wont let me continue unless I select an upgraded plan. Which I do not need. This is obviously a bug or pretty low tactic to force plan upgrades. There should be an option to retry payment method, or an option to have multiple payment methods. I do not wish to lose access to my account, but i'm also not going to be pushed into an upgrade I dont need. Any solutions for this?78Views0likes6CommentsHow to revert all files from "online-only" and save to local disk?
Awhile back I used SmartSync to free up disk space. I'm now trying to ensure all files are on the local disk rather than only online. Is there a way to accomplish this? One idea: under preferences in the Dropbox.com settings I found an option to drop the Dropbox file extension, which "allows Dropbox to store files as online-only to save hard drive space." When I toggle it on without saving, I'm told "The system extension will be uninstalled and you’ll be signed out of Dropbox on all devices within the hour. When you sign back in, you can choose what folders to download from Dropbox.com. You will no longer be able to make files online-only." My issue with this is I have 200k+ files perhaps half of which are online-only and Dropbox has limits of file transfer/bandwidth that might prevent me from downloading them all.Solved2.4KViews0likes7CommentsDropbox seems to be corrupting files…
I’m afraid we’re are migrating away from Dropbox, however whilst doing so we have noticed the following issue…. (Windows 11 – Latest Dropbox Version). Hence we though this may be useful. Most of our 2TB files are stored as “Online” only using Selective Sync. We then change the file status to “Available offline” so Dropbox copies(sync’s) the files back to the local disk from Dropbox.com. After some time (several hours) the Dropbox app confirms that all files are sync’d and the Dropbox task bar icon also indicates a complete/no activity status. The PC is rebooted and Dropbox is then uninstalled When trying to view via the PC the now sync’d Zip, Jpeg, Docx some of the files are corrupted/won’t open. As a test using Dropbox.com we manually download a problem file using MS Edge and the files will open correctly. It would seem that the Windows Dropbox client indicates it has finished its jobs even through it hasn’t fully completed syncing … We've also noticed that the corrupted file vs good file byte size are the same. We could duplicate this fault. Any thoughts ?6.4KViews0likes18Comments
