Dropbox Basic

Hi, I have a weird little problem. Every time I open the Dropbox folder (double click on the icon on the task bar), there's a Windows notification popping up that Num Lock has been enabled. This only started happening after I upgraded my Windows 10 to 11. Any ideas how to fix this?189Views2likes18CommentsI'm unable to cancel my Basic trial via my Google Play account.
I am attempting to cancel the Basic Subscription BEFORE the trial period ends and none of your instructions are working. I installed the app on my Android phone; there is no Step #4 ("How to Cancel") and Google Play doesn't even recognize the app! So much trouble, so little time. What to do next?9Views0likes1CommentFiles not updating as I'm out of space
Hi I have a basic Dropbox and it keeps saying I have run out of space. It has been updating 506 files for weeks. I cannot access any of these files. Aside from paying for more space is there anyway I can gain access to my files? SarahSolved57Views0likes16CommentsI've paid twice to update my Dropbox account, but it's still the same and asks me to upgrade.
Has this happened to anyone? Since my account is set as an basic account i cant reach anyone to tell them about this problem. I have scrennshots of messages confirming my updates, aswell as scrennshots from my bank showing the transfer of money. Is there any way for me to reach them via email og chat? We have the free version of dropbox at work. 3x computers make use of it. It's all excel files we have in the shared folders. At some point last year we discovered the files stopped syncing. Storage was full- deleted old files that were no longer necessary, then dropbox worked again. There is about 1GB of free space left. Again, dropbox has stopped syncing out of the blue. We have a solid internet connection. I noticed some troubleshootings mentioned it could be the antivirus- we have AVG free version, but we have had it since a long time ago and dropbox has always worked up until recently. On all 3x computers, the files show the green tick. But, let's say I make a change on X file, that change would not reflect on either of the other computers. Same if someone on the other computers made a change to X file, it wouldn't reflect on either other side either. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I am pulling out my hair trying to get it to sync. We don't have an IT department and I'm the only one in the office who generally has a good knowledge about computers, but this issue I fail to understand. Any assistance and advice will be gladly appreciated.22Views0likes1CommentVerifying email not working. It won't let me share content.
I have verified my email address multiple times and Dropbox will not let me share or copy a link and it keeps saying that I can't until my email address is verified. What can I do? I can't even chat with support because it says I have to verify my email address.791Views2likes26CommentsPop-ups in my Basic account keep prompting me to re-subscribe to Plus
Hi, I have been using the Basic Plan for a while now and it has worked well. Recently, I have been getting an annoying popup requesting that I resubscribe to the Plus Plan eventhough I have always been using the Basic Plan. The popup states "Welcome back, Michael! We noticed that your subscription has ended. Resubscribe now to not miss out on advanced productivity features and 2,000 GB or more of space." It shows my current plan as Basic with the 'Current Plan' button greyed out and prompts me to resubscribe to the Plus Plan. The popup is very annoying and interferes with the smooth running of Dropbox. Also, any new items I add, via the browser webpage, do not show up on any device. How can I stop this popup as I want to continue with the basic plan? Regards,81Views0likes11CommentsDo shared links have a default expiration date on Dropbox Basic?
Hello, I am currently using the free version of Dropbox, and I would like to confirm if shared links to uploaded folders still do not have an expiration date by default. I understand that with the Dropbox Professional or Business plans, it is possible to set an expiration date for shared links. However, I would like to know if, on the free plan, my shared links will remain active indefinitely unless I manually delete or remove them. Thank you!Solved44Views0likes2CommentsCannot find files I thought I'd been saving to Dropbox on my old computer which won't let me in.
Cannot find files I thought I'd been saving to Dropbox on my old computer which won't let me in. Had to buy a new computer; on it now but when I login to Dropbox, I don't find my files. I was using OneDrive before, on my old computer. Is that the problem, or likely something else? I also understand that there are two versions, the web and the app? I tried the web, and nothing is there. Help! I need my word processing files back! Those are long novels, one in progress!46Views0likes16Commentsdropbox keeps updating to beta when i have opted out of early access
