"There was an error downloading your file."
WHY is this an ongoing BUG?? Shameful and idiotic.
I can play the file just fine (it's an mp3 file) but can't download it, I have tried everything I can think of.
Shameful. Fix it PLEASE.

Hi satychary, I'd be happy to look into this!
Do you use our website when trying to download your file or do you use a different platform? If you could let me know the size of the file, that'd be amazing.
In case you're using the website, could you try to download it using an entirely different browser?
Let me know of the results!
- satycharyHelpful | Level 5Hi Megan, the file is only about 20M. It's only online, so I use dropbox.com to (try to) download it.
I've tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Brave) in regular as well as incognito modes.
The file (music) plays just fine in the browser, so there's nothing wrong with it.
The repeated hanging (when I want to download it to my laptop), and the most unhelpful "not possible" error message is frustrating to say the least. Why is downloading a file a problem? And why not provide a reason as to why not? I'm surprised that Dropbox maintains such bad code.
