Searching for keyword only brings up files that contain the word in the name

Hi, I am a longtime Business Dropbox user and everything worked fine until we upgraded to Win11 on our computer. When I search for a  file(s) containing a certain keyword it now only shows some of the documents that have that search item in the file name or as locked PDF files and not it's PPTX documents. Before it would show all files containing that keyword in the document texts.
Can anyone assist with this issue, please?

Thanks for the additional screenshot @MarSD - much appreciated.

Can you please check if this is happening with files outside your Dropbox folder as well?

Also, have you enabled the option to search the content of your files on your Windows computer?

Note that if you need assistance on how to do this,  you can use a web search according to your computer's OS.

Hey @MarSD, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Are you seeing this behavior on the Dropbox website, or your local Dropbox folder?

If it's on the website, can you try from a different browser or an incognito/private browsing window, to see if that helps?

Keep me posted.

Hi Hannah,
Thank you for your reply. No, this does not happen online on Dropbox website, just through my local folder with Dropbox synced Local.

Hey @MarSD, sorry to jump in here, but could you clarify if you notice this for just a specific file, some or all of your files?

Also, are they synced locally to your computer or maybe you've set them to be online only at some point?

If you could attach a screenshot or two so that we can have a visual of the issue too, I'd appreciate it.

Hi Walter, It happens with all the files in .pptx form (Powerpoint presentation) which I use for business, and they are all synced locally.

Thanks for that screenshot @MarSD

Could you send me another one showing the files inside your Dropbox folder?

I'd like to check their syncing icons as well.
