No preview available, when I click on a file to view it

When i click on a file to view it shows no preview available on the right. how can i view my documents in drop box thanks

Hey @dieselzeus, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

Can you please clarify where you're having this issue?

 

Is it on the Dropbox website or locally in your Dropbox folder?

 

If it's the website, can you try from a different browser or a private browsing window, to see if that helps?

I can view documents on the app on my phone. But on my PC I can not view. I open it on the app on the PC

HI @dieselzeus, what file(s) are you trying to open on the computer, and what error do you get?

Is this file saved to your Dropbox account?

 

If so, can you navigate to the file using the Dropbox folder and see if you can open it from there?

yes. how would i open it that way. all files are scanned directly to drop box

If you're using the Dropbox desktop application, you should have a folder named Dropbox in your file explorer.

 

Are you able to locate and open the file from that folder?
