Hope someone can assist...

I need to open a file to access the newest database but when I attempt to, I get a permanent failure. I have cleared the cache, cleared memory, uninstalled the app from my mobile device, (Pixel), reinstalled and I still receive the error message. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, could you try marking the file as offline first, then export the file to your phone directly into the file system.

Afterwards, rename it so it has the same name that it should have in the Keepass database (if it is very specific with filenames) and then import it into Keepass.

I created a folder on my Android device to export the file to, made it "available offline," and attempted to export. Received the error "Error exporting keepass."

Ugh!

Thanks for keeping us in the loop @AverageVillageIdiot

Would it be OK if we reach out via email to have a further look internally at this point?

Sure...let me know what it entails. As my moniker implies and I may be giving myself too much credit...I'm just an average village idiot. I don't want to throw my email out there for everyone but I'll be grateful if I can get through/recover/discover what is causing the issue.

No worries, there's no need to provide your email address here.

I already reached out to you, so make sure to get back to me, when you get a chance!

Rename the file in Dropbox then go back to Keepass and open the newly created file name. DO NOT CHANGE THE FILE EXTENSION!

It worked for me. I think this happens when the "conflicted copy" keeps getting added to the file name. Just a guess.
