When i try to open files on excel web in a shared folder it takes ages to open them and then doesnt work properly. I have to download the file and work offline and then re-upload. Only 1 file does this and the rest are ok. any ideas?

Hi there, @Bobo37, welcome to our Community!

When you say it doesn't work properly, would you mind clarifying more? Do you get any errors on your end?

Also, does this behavior happen when you use a specific browser? Have you tried a different one, by any chance?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi there,

So when i click on a particular file to open in excel for the web, it takes about 10 mins for it to open. No errors just very slow. All other shared files and folders open straight away except that. nothing different has been done or changed on that file. And once it opens, i will for example try and duplicate a sheet and all i see is ''working on it'' then ''still working on it'' and then the error that the request was not complete

Hi @Bobo37, is it for a specific Excel file, or for all Excel files you're trying to preview, including new blank files?
