Collapsable Sidebar and Sticky Toolbar

I love most of the improvements to the web interface, however, I have two requests:

1 - I'd love to be able to collapse the left sidebar (All Files -> the folder structure). There are times when it just seems to be in the way.

2 - The top toolbar (new folder, create, etc.) this seems to be very large and takes up a significant amount of space on the screen. Can it still remain "sticky" but after scrolling, can it compact itself to maximize the amount of space on screen to show my files?

In regards to your first request, there's already a similar idea posted here.  Feel free to take a look and add your vote as well.
