Can't find file that was sent to me.

Last night I got an email from Dropbox saying that they had a file for me to download. The only option in the email was "Visit your Dropbox." I don't see the file there, and I have no idea where to look for it. Can anyone offer any suggestions, please?  Thanks

Are you sure that was a genuine Dropbox email? That isnt how emails work from Dropbox for shared files.

HI @SteveKlarer, could you attach a screenshot showing the email you received, while hiding any personal details or email addresses?
