View, download, and export
Need support with viewing, downloading, and exporting files and folders from your Dropbox account? Find help from the Dropbox Community.
Okay, so for context, I download videos from my phone to the Dropbox and then I go to Dropbox in my laptop and download them on my computer. Problem is, one video refuses to download on my laptop and it keeps saying "check internet connection". I have internet, will always have internet, and the connection definitely hasn't been broken before (trust me, I check). So why won't it download? I've tried everything I can think of! Please help!
Thanks for posting on our forum, @unebellereine!
I’d like to clarify something first; you mention that you’re trying to download this file to your laptop. Are you using the Dropbox website to do that, or do you have the desktop app installed, and you’re trying to sync it locally instead?
Can you send me a full screenshot of the error you’re getting?
Finally, what’s the file extension of the video you’re having trouble with?
Let me know.
