Can I view movies in my dropbox backup when traveling without downloading the movie? Does dropbox have streaming software?

If you are using Dropbox backup then no. If you are using normal Dropbox sync sort of - the website and mobile devices give a preview of the file for you to watch BUT they are limited in length according to your paid for plan AND have bandwidth limitations on them.
