Currently, there's no way to unzip a file through Dropbox; have you tried downloading it to your computer and unzipping it there?
How large is the file in question?

Could you send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting, so that we can have a visual too @NancyAnnPhoto ?
Also, have you tried another browser and/or another program to un-zip the file?
