Storage Space

I keep getting an email every few days telling me I'm out of space and syncing has stoped, but I'm not, and it hasn't.
Dropbox works as normal, but I keep getting the e-mails. What gives?
Screenshot of space remaining in my profile:

The e-mail is genuine and not, like I first thought given I know I'm not out of storage, a scam. Links go to the proper dropbox domain etc.
What gives?
Thanks,
Ben.

Does the email address on your Dropbox account match the email address where you received the message? Could you have more than one account?
Hi Rich,
Yep, it's the same e-mail on the notification and the account. I only have the one Dropbox. Had it for probably 15 years!
Thanks,
Ben.
Hi @benhen31,
Thanks so much for being with us.
We've passed this issue along to our team to figure out what's going on, and we'll keep you updated as soon as we know more.
I'm receiving an email saying that I'm about to reach the storage limit on my account. While I have a free account, due to various promotions (such as Samsung Galaxy S), my storage was expanded, and I see in my account that I have 9.75 GB available.
Due to a phone change (I assume), Dropbox seems to be not accounting for my storage limit, but it still shows it as available in my account.
When I check my current used space, it says 3 GB used out of 9.75 GB available.
How can I check/solve this available/limit space issue?

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean by this.
Can you expand a bit?

Thank you for your reply @Mark
Let me clarify:
- In Dropbox "manage account", I see I have 9.75GB of storage. Also, I can see the status as "Using 2.9 GB of 9.75 GB.
- My account is Dropbox Basic (and in the same manage account section I can see (Dropbox Basic Free - 2 GB of storage...)
- The reason why I have 9.75 GB is because of some promotions and benefits, such as the Samsung Galaxy S24 promotion (when I bought my phone)
- I used this phone and Dropbox on 3 devices for years, without any warning or message from Dropbox.
- Now, I changed my phone, reinstalled Dropbox, and synced it, and after a while, I started to receive emails from Dropbox saying "You'll lose access to your files if you don't act soon!" and "Notice: Your files are about to stop syncing"
My question is if there is some issue/bug in Dropbox checking the limit of my space due to my current available space (9.75GB).
Are you positive on the new phone you have logged in to the correct account? If you add a file on that device does it appear on the website for example?

Yes, @Mark
I'm using Dropbox with this account, as usual, and everything is working fine, including syncing across my devices. The test that you suggested, adding a file to my phone, is my primary use case and is working correctly. I can see these files on the web Dropbox and in my other synced devices.
As long as you are under the limit then I'd ignore the email 🙂
Its either a whoops in the system, an auto generated one (although not usually that low on quota) or a fake phishing one
