Hi there @kristen0122 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
It sounds like you're a member of a shared folder that's taking up all the space on your account.
With what rights was the shared link shared with you in the first place? Did you add it to your account perhaps?
If you could also let us know what's reported in your plan tab in regards to your quota and if you can see the share in your sharing tab, it'd be very helpful.
