Email saying I'm over storage quota when I'm not
I got an email today saying "Please review ASAP: We're updating you about your account". I've had emails for a while saying my dropbox stopped syncing, but I never use Dropbox and don't really care, so ignored them. My account is only using 1.19 GB out of the 2 GB and it's a Basic account.
The message body reads
Account information: You continue to be over your Dropbox storage quota.
If I click the "Review options" button it has a bill for me. I don't want to pay this, I never use Dropbox, and if I sign into my account there are no error messages or requests for money. Why am I getting these emails? Anyone else have this issue?

Hello.
I keep receiving emails from Dropbox saying that I'm almost out of space and that I'm using up 80% of my space, when I'm actually using less than 10%.
Note that it says above that I have only 2 BG of space, when I actually have 15.38...
Can someone please tell me what to do? Thanks!

Hi Plinio Bosco, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you attach a screenshot showing that you're out of storage on your account?
This will help me to assist further!

What is www.dropbox.com/account/plan showing?
Also did you accidentally activate www.dropbox.com/backups ?
