Problem Doing a Dropbox Update on Windows 10

Problem Doing a Dropbox Update on Windows 10

I am using a Dell Laptop--Windows 10.  I am using Dropbox Pro  the $199/year plan.

The Dropbox Help Center says that to update Dropbox, click on "your initials" in the top right corner of the page. I did that.

Next, the directions says to click on "Preferences."

My drop-down box does not have "Preferences."

The directions says that it's located under "Language."

Under "Language," I have no other option listed. Language is the last one.

Does this mean that I can't use an update?

Thank you!!

Hi

Are you trying to update the software on your machine? If so there is no formal update tool you can check for updates with. It is totally automatic.

However, you can force the most recent version via www.dropbox.com/downloading
