I am having an issue where I received the same notification email 54 times since 4 days ago. I am not sure if this is a bug with Dropbox or something else. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes I have tried that. Problem still persisted

Thanks for reporting this. We're currently investigating and we have some questions:

 

  • Is the email address you're receiving these notifications the same one you used to sign up here on the Community, or is it a different address?
  • Are you receiving these notification emails today?

Let us know and we can go from there!

That sounds really frustrating! Here’s what you can do to resolve the notification spam:

  1. Check Notification Settings:

    • Open Dropbox and go to your account settings.
    • Navigate to the Notifications tab and adjust your preferences to limit email notifications.
  2. Check Email Rules:

    • Ensure there are no email rules or filters that might be causing duplicates.
  3. Update Dropbox:

    • Make sure you’re using the latest version of Dropbox.
  4. Contact Support:

    • If the issue persists, contact Dropbox Support for assistance. They can help identify if it’s a bug.
