Not getting Email notifications - all boxes are checked in settings

Hi all, I am in IT Helpdesk - I have 2 users that have stopped getting email notifications when projects are added to their Dropbox.  All email options are checked but the emails are not coming in.  It does say "your team admin may be controlling some email settings" but I don't know how to find out who that is.

Thank you in advance!!

Thanks for posting on our Community, @dianders!

Can you attach a screenshot of the error message they keep receiving?

Besides this type of email, are they getting other emails from Dropbox, in general?

Finally, if they’re part of a Business team, only they can see who their admin is by following these steps.

Keep me in the loop.

Thank you Nancy! She is not getting any errors, she is just not receiving any email notifications though all of them are checked on in her settings.  I will follow your steps to see who her business admin is.  Her coworker has the same problem so I believe it's something the admin may have done.  Thank you for your quick reply!

Hi again Nancy, she does not see step 3 View Teams and Groups.  Does that mean she's a standalone without an admin?  If so, the email notifications aren't working.  Does she need to have notifications for Dropbox enabled in Windows settings?

Here is a pic of her settings - not sure why the emails are just not coming in.  Hmmmm..... Let me check her email rules/spam traps!!

Hi @dianders, could you clarify what notifications you're referring to? There aren't emails sent out if files are added to a Dropbox account, unless you're referring to invites to shared folders or some other type of notification.

A screenshot of an email they received would be helpful, while hiding any personal information and names.
