My MacBook was unhelpfully added to Dropbox Backup as "Mac (4)" which makes no sense. This isn't even the hostname of that machine.
How do I change the machine name?

Where did you find this esoteric knowledge? Where is it located?
I'm dealing with PC (2)/(3) etc and don't want to resort to putting a sticker on each computer so I know which is which.
Hey @Wrich73, are you on the updated version of backup or the older one?
If you're on the older one, you can't rename your backup folders, I'm afraid.

Hi @Wrich73, it sounds like you won't be able to rename the Dropbox Backup on your account.
You can contact the support team directly for them to look into this in more detail.
