I want to backup everything on my android but then be able to delete photos and videos from my phone to save space without them being deleted on Dropbox. How do I do this please? I have uploaded everything using the memory zone app.
Hey @carolecarre, welcome to our Community and thanks for using Dropbox!
The easiest way would be to install our Android mobile app and upload your files using the (+) button from there.
Once you're done with uploading them to Dropbox, you can go ahead and delete the originals from your mobile.
Otherwise, you could also try using a web browser to upload your files directly, but it could be a little clunky on a mobile device.
I hope this helps!

Just want to make sure I will not lose them…they are all uploaded into the memory zone folder, but with pc uploads of files when I change or delete a file on my pc and sync they are deleted or changed on db too?
Hi @carolecarre, just for clarification, is this memory zone an app on your phone? Do those files appear on the Dropbox site?
Is there any documentation on the memory zone app on what happens if you delete files?
