How can I change my email address - it's saying that the address already has an account!
Hi all, I have a dropbox account that uses an email address that I want to change. I have recently upgraded dropbox to a paid plan. When I try to change my email address it says that an account already exists (I did have a dropbox account with the email address I want to use but do not anymore - it was cancelled on the 2nd of October - 6 days ago). Do I just need to wait longer before it will work? Thank you!

You mentioned that the account was cancelled, but did you manage to delete it too?
In order to use that email address with your account, you'll either need to change the email on the other account (to a third email address) or delete the account entirely.
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

I deleted the account (and had a confirmation email from dropbox that the account had been deleted on the 2nd of October) - any advice you can offer would be really appreciated, Katy
