I have received an e-mail saying "Your files are nearly ready to be uploaded". A little puzzling, as I have not asked to upload any new files.
... and it won't let me post unless I select a category.....

It has been there for years.
If that's the case, you can safely ignore the message. It might have been sent out in error to your account.
